New Antares8 Fishing boasts a sleek sporty design and delivers new features that will be
popular with anyone who loves sea activities, particularly fishing; with the
characteristic style and elegance of this iconic line and real comfort.
Manoeuvres
easier
The Antares
8 Fishing is far more sporty in style than the Antares 8 Cruising and boasts
dedicated equipment for fishers. Its modular cockpit makes movement easier and
every detail has been optimised. The aft bench has been replaced by a fishing
station with professional-grade rod holders. In addition to the water
circulation live bait well, there are three storage compartments under the
deck, one of which can hold a fish box. A major new feature is the side access
gate to starboard, making mooring manoeuvres easier and also making it easier
to lift larger catches on board.
Night
vision range increased
An aft
searchlight is located on the roof, and a LED projector light faces forward to
increase visibility when navigating by night. The wheelhouse hard top,
shortened to make casting easier, can house a 12” display for finding fishing
spots. The rod holders are built-in to the freeboards but also into the hard
top continuing the roof. The Antares 8 has the flared hull design specific to
the Antares line, making it extremely stable in all weather conditions. The
integrated ergonomic driving station has room for an optional 12” control
display. Powered by a 250-HP engine, the Antares 8 can reach a speed of 35
knots.
Comfortable
cruise and accommodation
The Antares 8 includes all the creature comforts you need for coastal cruising: a kitchenette with refrigerator and a gas or electric hob according to preference. It can also be equipped with air conditioning. The modular saloon with folding benches provides optimal space and makes crew movements easier. Once the removable table is installed and the benches unfolded, the Antares 8 Fishing provides a comfortable saloon in which to enjoy good company. Up to five passengers can spend the night on board, thanks to two double berths; one in the cabin and the other in the wheelhouse. An additional berth can be arranged in the space under the saloon.
